Assemblée anti-THT

For several months, repression against those involved in the fight against High Voltage power lines (THT) in Cotentin-Maine has increased dramatically. These high voltage power lines, imposed on local people, are dangerous for the health and only serve the private interests linked to the nuclear industry. This struggle took off early in the project, and saw further acceleration after blocking the CASTOR nuclear waste train, when work started for the lines in November 2011.

It then developed, particularly in Le Chefresne, village of the county of la Manche affected by the THT line and opposed to the project, both on the part of the town hall and the local population against the THT line and for the immediate stopping of nuclear power. Once the general assembly of le Chefresne set up, many public actions were organised (removing nuts and bolts from pylons, occupying sites, etc.), to halt construction sites of the project conducted by RTE (Réseau de Transport de l’Electricité, a subsidiary of EDF ). The nuclearised French State, walking hand in hand with RTE, has decided once again to use repression to halt the struggle, arresting activists, convoking others, and by putting people on trial.

Most recently, a weekend against the THT lines was organised near Chefresne, from 22nd to 24th June to organise debates and to think especially about the anti-nuclear movement, ending with a public action against THT lines. But 600 policemen awaited the 500 participants, whose orders were to injure people (25 injured) more than to intervene (one person was arrested and will be in court in August).

The state and RTE prefer and try to suppress and stifle a legitimate dispute. (Police) Forces under the command of RTE are looking for the slightest pretext. Thus, 2nd June 2012 in Saint Pierre des Landes (53), after wounding an activist, they took the opportunity to sue him on the grounds of violently resisting arrest. In the same place, someone is accused of having driven his vehicle too close to a policewoman while parking it… An offence so obvious that he was arrested six days after the event, once RTE, the prefet and the police were also sued… Finally, preferring to harm rather than arrest people on 24 June, the authorities are trying to blame the only person available to them with the spraining of a finger and bruises to the hands of two “injured” policemen, although he does not match the description of the person drawn up by them. Several court cases are pending (one has already taken place).

1st and 2nd Sept. 2012: General Meeting at Le Chefresne, in the (occupied) wood of la Bévinière.

29th Sept. : anti-nuclear and anti-THT rally in Avranches

Da parecchi mesi, la repressione contro le persone coinvolte nella lotta contro la linea ad altissima Tensione (THT) Contentin-Maine ha fortemente aumentato. Queste linee THT, imposte alle popolazioni locali, sono pericolose sul piano sanitario e servono solamente gli interessi privati legati all’industria nucleare. Questa lotta ha preso il suo sviluppo fin dall’inizio del progetto, e ha conosciuto una nuova accelerazione dopo il blocco del treno di rifiuti nucleari Castor e l’inizio dei lavori, nel novembre 2011.

Si è poi particolarmente sviluppata intorno al Chefresne (50), villaggio riguardato dalla linea THT ed opposto al progetto, sia per quanto riguardo il municipio sia per la popolazione, contro la linea THT e per l’arresto immediato del nucleare. L’assemblea generale del Chefresne costituita, numerose azioni pubbliche sono state organizzate ( svitare i bulloni dei piloni, occupazione di cantieri eccetera,) per bloccare i cantieri di costruzione condotti da RTE (Rete di Trasporto dell’elettricità) filiale di EDF. Lo stato nucleare, camminando mano nella mano con RTE, ha deciso di utilizzare una volta in più la repressione per bloccare questa lotta, fermando dei militanti/e, convocandone altri, e processandoli.

Ultimamente, un week-end anti-THT è stato organizzato accanto al Chefresne, dal 22 al 24 giugno, per organizzare particolarmente dei dibattimenti e delle riflessioni sulla lotta anti-nucleare, we che si è chiuso con un’azione pubblica contro le linee THT. Ma 600 carabinieri, di cui gli ordini erano più di ferire (25 feriti/e) che d’interporrsi , hanno aspettato i 500 partecipanti , (un arresttato sarà che passa processato).

Lo stato e RTE preferiscono così reprimere e tentare di imbavagliare una contestazione legittima. Le forze agli ordini di RTE cercano il minimo pretesto. Così, il 2 giugno 2012 al Saint Pierre des Landes (53), dopo avere ferito un militante, ne approfittano per denunciarlo col motivo di ribellione; allo stesso luogo, è rimproverato ad un militante di avere posteggiato il suo veicolo troppo vicino ad un carabiniere… Un’infrazione talmente evidente che fu chiamato 6 giorni dopo i fatti, quando RTE, il prefetto ed i carabinieri denunciati per le loro estorsioni… Infine, avendo preferito ferire piuttosto che arrestare il 24 giugno, le autorità tentano di caricare al massimo l’unica persona a loro disposizione, rimproverandogli la storta al dito e le contusioni alla mano dei due carabinieri « feriti », sebbene non corrisponda alla descrizione della persona messa in causa da essi. Parecchi processi sono a venire, un è già finito.

Ogni volta, chiamiamo ad una manifestazione di sostegno davanti al tribunale.

Dénonciation du projet de ligne THT Cotentin-Maine

Les actions de résistance aux chantiers de la ligne THT se sont multipliés depuis le début de l’année 2012, une année que la lutte avait annoncé compliquée pour RTE et consort, ce qui s’est confirmé au fil des mois avec de nombreux bâtons dans les chenilles du rouleau compresseur.

Une des formes d’action que nous avons pu observé sinon mettre en pratique est le déboulonnage des pylônes en cours de montage ou terminé de monté.

Plus ou moins symboliques suivant le nombre de boulons enlevés, et les dégats annexes causés, c’est déboulonnages furent et sont encore un des symboles de la lutte en cours contre cette ligne THT.

C‘est dans ce contexte et avec les usages de la désobéissance civile (acte revendiqué à visage découvert) que s’est déroulé le déboulonnage du 18 mars 2012 appelé par Marais sous Tension.

Ce jour-là, 8 militants accompagnés d’une soixantaine de soutien ont entrepris d’enlever quelques boulons du premier pylône érigé sur la commune de Saint Martin d’Aubigny au coeur du champ de résistance de l’association anti-THT Marais sous tension. Les forces aux ordres de RTE et du larbin préfectoral de cette entreprise ont alors décidé d’une arrestation ciblée, celle du président de l’association, bien qu’il ne fut qu’un des huit déboulonneurs.

Celui-ci se retrouve donc devant le TGI de Coutance le 19 juin 2012, convoqué à 9 h, heure à laquelle nous invitons à ce qu’il soit soutenu et bien au-delà du soutien qui lui sera porté, c’est un soutien à toute la lutte contre la balafre de la THT que nous revendiquons ce jour-là.
